For people who want cards gone, not listed

Want someone to
just buy them?

No counter to queue at and no drive across town. Photograph your cards and TCG Hamster and UK card shops make you offers. Pick the one you like, or list them yourself here and keep 90%.

Straight answer first

You'll get offers, not a fixed price. TCG Hamster and partner shops each look at your photos and bid on what they want, and anyone buying to resell offers under market value.

Nothing is posted until you accept one, and you can turn them all down. You'll need a free account, and payouts set up so we can pay you.

How it works

  1. 1Photograph your cards. Sign up, then take a photo of the front and back of each card. We recognise the card and show you what it sells for. On valuable cards, buyers want to see the corners, so we crop close-ups from your photos: take them sharp, with the card filling the frame.
  2. 2Raw or graded, and your price. Loose cards and graded slabs (PSA, BGS, CGC and others) are both welcome. Pick the condition or the grade, and if you have a figure in mind, add your own price. Cards need to be worth £5 or more each: anything cheaper sells better listed on the site.
  3. 3Not sure what you've got? Tick “I'm not sure what this card is” and add close-ups of the top and bottom of the card. We'll identify it for you, including the details that change the price, like a 1st Edition stamp or a shadowless print.
  4. 4Shops make offers. TCG Hamster and our partner shops look at your photos and make offers, and we email you each one. Compare them side by side.
  5. 5Accept one and get paid. Accept the offer you want, post the cards tracked, and get paid once they arrive and match the photos. You'll need payouts set up first, which takes a few minutes.
  6. 6Or list them at the same time. Tick the box and we'll also make draft listings for you to publish, so a buyer on the site can snap a card up while the offers come in. Keep at least 90% if one sells first.

Why the other route is usually worth more

Anyone buying your cards outright: us, a shop, a stall at an expo, has to leave room to resell them. That is why a counter offer is a fraction of what the card is worth, and why it is quick.

Listing them here is slower, but it is a 10% commission that falls as you sell taken only when a card actually sells, with nothing to pay to list and the tracked postage label bought for you. On most cards that gap is the difference between spending money and getting it.
